

Anny Reyes is a NIH NRSA F31 Diversity Fellow and doctoral candidate in the SDSU/UCSD Joint Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology focusing on neuropsychology. She is completing her clinical neuropsychology internship at Emory School of Medicine. Her doctoral research is focused on identifying individual differences that influence the relationship between brain pathology and clinical phenotypes in patients with epilepsy. She is also interested in understanding and reducing the health disparities that exist within the diagnoses and treatment of patients with epilepsy. Clinically, she is interested in provided neuropsychological services to bilingual (Spanish-English) and Spanish speaking patients. At the leadership level, her initiatives are focused on providing students with novel research and professional networking opportunities, increasing diversity within neuropsychology, promoting student mentorship, and improving the recruitment and retention of URM students in neuropsychology.
