Dr. Matthew Calamia is the Associate Dean of Pinkie Gordon Lane Graduate School and an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Louisiana State University. He completed his doctoral training at the University of Iowa and completed his internship at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He was part of the steering committee for the Queer Neuropsychological Society and served on its inaugural executive board as a member-at-large. He is an Associate Editor at the Journal of Clinical and Experimental Neuropsychology. He mentors graduate students interested in clinical neuropsychology in his lab; his lab focuses broadly on neuropsychological assessment with an emphasis on psychometrics and aging. In collaboration with trainees in his lab and with outside collaborators, he has also been involved in research on mentorship, diversity, and doctoral education in clinical neuropsychology. He is the President of the Association for Doctoral Education in Clinical Neuropsychology (ADECN).
