Hanan Rafiuddin is a predoctoral intern in clinical neuropsychology at the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital and an incoming postdoctoral fellow at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center. She is completing her PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of North Texas.
Her clinical and research interests center on neuropsychological assessment of adults and older adults, with an emphasis on vascular contributions to cognitive impairment, health disparities, and culturally informed care. Her work broadly explores the clinical utility of assessment tools across diverse populations, as well as emerging questions related to technology and diagnostic decision-making in neuropsychology. She has contributed to committee and leadership organizations focused on trainee mentorship, engagement, and development of educational initiatives.
