Dr. Arooj Abid is a postdoctoral fellow in clinical neuropsychology at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center. She completed her doctoral training in clinical psychology at the University of Arkansas and her predoctoral internship at the Veterans Healthcare System of the Ozarks. Her research interests include executive functioning and emotion regulation across neurocognitive processes. Clinically, she provides neuropsychological services to Veterans presenting with complex medical, neurological, and psychiatric conditions. She also enjoys providing supervision and mentorship to practicum students. Dr. Abid is passionate about advancing accessible neuropsychology education, training, and services, as well as promoting trainee engagement in the field.
