Amanda Kenepp, M.A.

Amanda Kenepp is a fifth-year doctoral candidate in Clinical Neuropsychology at Queens College and The Graduate Center, CUNY. Amanda’s clinical interests include neuropsychological assessment of developmental and acquired disabilities across the lifespan. Broadly, her research explores single-gene mutation models of cognitive development. She completed her master’s thesis on longitudinal assessment of reading skills in children with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Currently, her dissertation work focuses on modeling math-related cognitive skills in children and adults with a fragile X premutation. She is committed to investing in her community through mentorship and advocacy, such in her involvement in Know Neuropsychology and in the Student & Education Committee of Queer Neuropsychological Society (QNS). She works to promote equitable access to educational opportunities and professional development.a
