Dante Rogers is a first-year doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. Program at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, with clinical concentrations in neuropsychology and child psychology. His research investigates the genetic, neurological, and socio-emotional mechanisms underlying language and communication in children and adults with autism spectrum disorder and Fragile X syndrome. Clinically, he is interested in providing neuropsychological care for individuals with neurodevelopmental conditions, particularly those of genetic origin or with complex medical presentations.
In addition to his clinical work and research, Dante’s experiences navigating academia as a Black male have deepened his commitment to supporting marginalized students and communities both within his field and beyond. He engages in direct mentorship, advocacy, research dissemination, public talks and panels, and volunteer work through his lab as well as local and national organizations to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in neuropsychology and higher education. He looks forward to continuing these efforts by making meaningful contributions and building supportive networks within the KnowNeuropsychology organization.
