Dr. Jazmin Mogavero is a clinical neuropsychologist and assistant professor within the Department of Neurology at The University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah. She completed her BS in psychology at Boston College, her PhD in clinical psychology at St. John’s University, and her pre-doctoral internship at Rush University Medical Center. She then went on to complete her postdoctoral fellowship in neurosurgical neuropsychology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Mogavero’s research interests are in the role and the impact of neuropsychological assessment on cognitive and emotional outcomes in patients with brain tumors. She also has been actively involved in a wide array of teaching and volunteer services, including involvement in leadership programs, guest lecturing graduate-level courses, serving as a research mentor, and contributing on community outreach projects. She plans to continue her efforts with equity, diversity, justice, and inclusion, as well as make meaningful contributions towards KnowNeuropsychology’s future success.
