Joanna Huang is a first year Neuropsychology Postdoctoral Resident at Kaiser Northern California. She graduated with her doctoral degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, after completing a predoctoral internship in the Neuropsychology Track at the Greater Los Angeles VA Healthcare System Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center. Previously, she was a neuropsychology extern at UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, and City of Hope, a comprehensive cancer center. Her research interests include international student cross-cultural adjustment and cancer-related cognitive impairment. As a Taiwanese American, Joanna is hoping to leverage her bicultural background to increase awareness of and access to neuropsychological services in Asian and Mandarin-speaking communities. Joanna is excited to continue learning about cultural neuropsychology and to contribute to KnowNeuropsychology’s advocacy for diversity, equity, and inclusion. Aside from neuropsychology, Joanna loves cats, boba/bubble tea, board games, and traveling.
