Taylor Walls is a doctoral candidate in Montclair State University’s PhD program in Clinical Psychology. She graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and earned her Master’s in Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. She completed her master’s thesis on the relationship between emotion dysregulation and sleep disturbance among adolescents with suicidal ideation. Currently, her research interests and dissertation work are centered around developing, implementing, and evaluating culturally-sensitive, evidence-based interventions for anxiety in community settings, such as schools. She is currently completing her clinical training in neuropsychological assessment at Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine, conducting pre-surgical evaluations for patients across the lifespan with epilepsy and neurological disorders.
