Dr. Willie F. McBride is a new assistant professor with Spalding University School of Professional Psychology where he is the Adult Emphasis Neuropsychology Director. He finished his 2-year fellowship with the Neurology department within the University of Virginia Health System. He also serves as the treasurer for the Society for Black Neuropsychology. He also previously completed a fellowship in Interprofessional Psychology at the Tennessee Valley HealthCare System in Murfreesboro TN. He completed his internship with the Vanderbilt/Veteran Affairs Professional Psychology Consortium in Nashville TN. He fulfilled his doctoral degree requirements at the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology in Norfolk VA. His research interests include neuropsychological practice within minority communities, forensic neuropsychology, and personality. Originally from Louisville Kentucky, Willie enjoys vinyl records, video games, and debating the merits of anime as a national pastime.
Dr. McBride served on the KnowNeuropsychology Committee from April 2020 to December 2021 and is one of the founding members.
